Here are the different types of lessons I can provide.
Personalised
Help students learn their favourite songs. Learn common chord structures, scales, arpeggio patterns, melodic devices and more! No experience needed.
Jazz
Help with improvising, soloing, comping, jazz theory and more. Recommended for more experimental players. No prior jazz experience necessary but basic music theory is recommended
Academic Teaching
ABRSM and Trinity Piano and Theory exam help.
Why I teach
Music has been my passion for many years now and has been a great outlet for me since I was a child. I was lucky enough to have some amazing teachers who were great mentors as well as friends. The impact these teachers had on me was very profound and I wouldn't be where I was today without them. Music is a wonderful and mysterious artform and it has been a great privilege in my life to be able to learn piano and an even greater privilege to teach it. I love to give back to the community by sharing my knowledge and experience.
